Capture, Connect, and Extract Value from Every Idea

Not a notes app. An ideas infrastructure.

You have had thousands of ideas. You have acted on a fraction of them. The rest – the ones scribbled on napkins, typed into notes apps you never reopen, mentioned in meetings and immediately forgotten – represent an invisible portfolio of unrealised value.

The Ideas Command Centre changes that. It is a complete idea management system that captures, organises, resurfaces, and helps you extract value from your entire ideas portfolio – running entirely in your browser, with your ideas held on your own device.

Capture ideas instantly using the Quick Entry bar with inline tagging, a full multi-field capture form, or voice input (Web Speech API, or Deepgram via your own key). No friction, no context-switching – capture the idea before it fades.
Organise your portfolio across nine views, including Today, a drill-through Dashboard, Kanban, an Outcomes gallery, and a natural-language Ask search that lets you query your ideas in plain English.
Resurface forgotten ideas with a weighted algorithm that favours older, higher-value, unactioned ideas – creating the serendipitous connections that turn forgotten ideas into starting points. Use it daily as a 30-second warm-up.
Review with discipline through a guided four-step Weekly Review designed for Monday mornings: triage high-value ideas, review the week's captures, confront stale items, and track your actions. Three to five minutes that compound over months.
Commit and complete through the Idea-to-Action Bridge. Promote any idea to a structured commitment with a Next Action, Due Date, and Success Criterion. When you mark it Completed, capture one sentence about what actually changed – feeding the Outcomes gallery and your follow-through ratios.
Archive without losing anything. The reversible Archive sets ideas aside to keep your active portfolio focused; restore any of them at any time, and your backups include the archive.

AI that knows your portfolio. The AI Assistant connects to your own API key (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google) and works across four modes: Chat (a conversational portfolio advisor with quick actions for themes, strategy, and triage), Summarise (executive summary, weekly digest, or bullet briefing), Describe (expand notes, generate one-line hooks, or create action steps for any idea), and Prioritise (AI suggests value and status changes with rationale – accept or skip each one individually). Your key stays in your browser. Your data goes only to your chosen provider.

Privacy by design. Your ideas are held locally in your own browser, not on CaroKahn servers. The application connects out only for a one-time licence activation, occasional background revalidation, and – when you explicitly ask it to – the AI features, which send data solely to your chosen provider via your own key. Export to Excel, CSV, Markdown (for Notion, Obsidian, or GitHub), or JSON backup.

How it works

Ideas Command Centre is a licensed hosted application. There is nothing to install and no server to run. Open it at apps.carokahn.com/ideas-command-centre/ and activate once with the licence key and email from your order. Your licence covers up to five devices; it works offline once activated, and installs as a desktop app straight from the browser.

What's included

Lifetime access to the hosted application, including updates – open it in any modern browser, activate once, and it is yours across five devices.
Instruction Manual – a comprehensive reference covering every feature, view, keyboard shortcut, and data field.
Quick Start Guide – from open to outcome in five minutes.
Mastering Idea-Driven Innovation – a seven-module eLearning course covering innovation principles (the forgetting curve, combinatorial creativity, the Innovation Stack) alongside practical ICC training, hosted alongside the app with interactive flip cards, quizzes, and a completion certificate.

Who this is for. Professionals, founders, consultants, and creative practitioners who generate more ideas than they can hold in their heads – and want a system that ensures the best ones don't get lost. If you have ever thought "I had an idea about that once" and couldn't find it, this is for you.

Delivered via Payhip. Your licence key and access details arrive by email the moment your order completes.
